Coda (son of Roy)
In celebration of the life of Paul's father Roy Grove comes this imaginative collection of orchestral pieces. Tender and dramatic, this intricate and evolved assemblage of songs are a direct result of the inspiration of Roy Grove on his son, Paul.
"My Father's greatest gift to me, and to my brother, is the gift of music. He was always listening, deeply, always exploring. He was always open to new sounds but his heart was firmly rooted in the trappings of classical and orchestral music. This is my ode to him. I only wish I had finished in time to share it with him."
Most evident in the piece "Admiring My Father", this commemoration of his father's life is also a celebration of Paul's love of the same music that influenced his father.
"Classical piano was a major part of my upbringing. What I learned through my years of piano lessons are invaluable for me today through all the different styles and genres on which I play. And Dad was always there, encouraging me to keep practicing and learning."
A beautiful, kind soul could only inspire like music. Please listen, and enjoy.

I cannot express in words the love I have for my father and how much I miss him. Perhaps this Music touches that depth.
I love Montana and this part of the West of the US; this Music celebrates this part of the world.
Some notes on the song names of
Coda (Son of Roy)
'Coda' is a musical term meaning an ending added on to the basic structure of the song.
Olive Ley- A dark green land-form. I picture it a little dark but embracing, the loamy smell all around, with mystery and solace.
Quintisensual- A combo of quintessential and sensual. A deeply contemplative piece of music.
CHIGnon- A knot of hair, but with weird capitalization in some music players (some change it for some reason). This is a piece of music for a small chamber orchestra or perhaps a quintet.

Hyporheic Flow- This is the water-saturated area beneath a river bed that is rich in invertebrate life. Deeply mysterious but teeming with life, you can hear it all around you, and sense the richness of this panoply.
Solace of Time- Just a short piano piece. Time heals all wounds as the saying goes. But the scars remain, as they should.
Full Military Honors- In honor of our veterans wherever they are. Including my brother, father, cousin, two uncles, and grandfather.
Arch of Time- This piece is strangely written in 11/8 timing, which is an odd arch. Again, I am thinking of time on this album.
Sweet Liberty- As our liberty is threatened from the inside, top-down, in this and other countries and lands, it is important to remember and celebrate how important and wonderful it is to be free, safe and clear of oppressive so-called leaders.
Until Now and Then- More expressions of time. 'Until now', and 'now and then', shoved together into one meaning. This piano-driven song has lots of character, check out the whole thing.
Ophidian Charm-The name is relating to snakes, so like a snake charmer. It's a little sinister and enigmatic. But I personally enjoy and respect snakes, I always have, I've even had a couple small ones as pets. So celebrate our ophidian friends!
Complete Elegy of Grace- It's a bit of a lament for grace. It is 'complete' because the piece started as a small clip for our production music library but I was inspired to expanded it into a larger work. The original is the part that starts at about 3 minutes in.
