Grace Notes:
01 Shishcombobulated- A mix of discombobulated and shish kebab because it makes me laugh. A good start to the album with lots of different feels like all the mixing flavors on the grill.
02 An Eastern Wind- I don't often sing, but this one needed vocals and I was available. A mysterious and engaging spin; you can read the lyrics HERE.
03 Shagoon- This one is the whole shagoon, every bit of it. A little edgier than the previous pieces, it's a nice roller coaster.
04 Hotter Air- Another piece with my vox. It takes a while, I'm mostly interested in instrumental tracks but this one called for a vocal line and again... I was available. Lyrics are HERE.
05 i Eye i- Take a good look at yourself. No filters, with as much perspective as you can have. What do you see, who do you see?
06 Underscore- Pretty much me rapping here, you can hear this song on the links on this page. Lyrics are HERE.
07 Iron Sick- When the iron nails start to fail on an old sailing ship it is said to be iron sick. Lots of moods here, a bit of a lament for the old ship.
08 Ten Decks Down- Me singing again and you can play that song with the links on this page if you don't want to stream it so I make my 0.0000000145 cents. This one is pretty spooky. Lyrics are found HERE.
09 Hysteresis Curve- I love the groove of this song (link on this page to preview it). I want to air-drum along with it.
10 Ding an Sich- The Thing Itself. This song is somewhat meditative and the lyrics can be found HERE.
11 Race Around Charybdis- The monster/whirlpool of Greek myth. Don't get sucked in! And there is a calm in this storm.
12 Grin Chesire- I guess I sing quite a bit on this album! Lyrics HERE. One of my favorite topics- the toxicity of religions on humanity.
13 Patchwork- Like the name implies this song has several disparate parts that are strung together in a meaningful way.
14 Flight of the Sheerie- An Irish fairy; you'd better move to keep up.
15 Bricolage- A creative process using 'found' materials. Another piece with dissimilar part melding together into a satisfying whole and a great ending piece to the whole album.
